馬インフルエンザの影響で競馬開催が中止

ＪＲＡが１８、１９日の競馬開催を全て中止することを発表しました。一旦は開催するとの発表を覆してのものだけに、ＪＲＡが思っていたよりも馬インフルエンザの感染が拡大している上に、感染源が突き止められないというのが現状なのでしょう。とにかく１頭でも多くの被害馬を防ぐことが先決です。サラブレッドが健康であってこその競馬ですので、諸々の事情があるとは思いますが、事態が完全に沈静化するまでは開催を急ぐ必要は全くありません。私たちは待つしかないですね。

ほんとに大変な事態になってしまいました。

よくわからないのは予防接種（それも２回）をしているのに
インフルエンザになってしまった、ということ。
Ａ）予防接種に意味がない？
Ｂ）予防接種をしているというのは建前で実際にはされていない？

おそらくどちらかが原因だと思いますが
Ａの場合は何か別の対策方法が必要となり、
かなり大掛かりな改善方法が求められます。
人間なら手を洗うとかうがいをするとか・・・
衛生面での対策は取れますが馬では難しいかもしれませんね。

Ｂを疑うのはうがった見方かもしれませんが
喉もと過ぎればなんとやらで、基本的な対策を
怠っていたということで関係者の姿勢を正す必要があります。
まぁ逆にこっちなら手の打ちようがあるのかも・・。

何にしろ起こってしまったことは仕方がないので
早急にそして万全の対策を取って再開に向けて
がんばってもらいたいものです。

その間はブログでもゆっくり競馬全般について

どこかの肉屋さんじゃないので、さすがにＢはないと思いますよ（笑）。

保守体質は目をつぶるとして、ＪＲＡは世界的にも優れた運営をしている機関だと信じています。

ウイルスは新種が出てくるので、２度のワクチン接種では対応できないのでしょうかね？

まあ、ちょっと様子を見ましょう。

人間でも２度予防接種をしてもインフルエンザに罹るように、
ワクチンはあくまで罹りにくくする予防策の一つであって、
完璧に防げるわけではないですよね。

今週末出走予定馬の一部の中で２９頭もいたということは、
全体ではかなりの数でしょうね。
月単位で開催を断念せざるを得ないようですが、
そうなるとＪＲＡだけでなく各所に深刻なダメージが予想されますね・・

そのようですね。

私も初めての経験ですので、どれぐらいの被害が出るのかよく分からないというのが正直なところです。

おっしゃるとおり、すでに全体でもかなりの数になっているでしょうし。

たとえＧ１シリーズに間に合ったとしても、各馬が完全な状態で出走してくることが出来るのか心配です…。
